Hey yall! I had a great time shadowing today with a perio specialist @DRCURTISCASKEY! The staff kept telling me the day was a slow one; but I felt it was exciting. I again found myself wanting to touch EVERYTHING! But I had to remember I was there to observe 😭. Today was actually a 2 in 1; I met two Periodontists! I got to see some consultations, implant placements, a couple checkups, pan scans, charting and I met a lot of good people. I honestly learned a lot more than I knew about perio. Remember my pre-dents, shadow because you want to and don’t be afraid to ask questions and be yourself. When you want to do something, it makes it a whole lot easier! And be as interactive as you can.
